VP Dick Cheney Offers Democrat Patrick Leahy Good Advice

Democrat Senator Patrick Leahy in the 2018 Senate Supreme Court nomination hearings has retained his reputation as a royal pain in the ass to others around him. This is a well deserved recognition by fellow senators too.

On Tuesday, June 22, 2004 Cheney, serving in his role as president of the Senate, appeared in the chamber for a photo session. A chance meeting with Sen. Patrick J. Leahy (Vt.), the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, became an argument about Cheney's ties to Halliburton Co., an international energy services corporation, and President Bush's judicial nominees. The exchange ended when Cheney offered some crass advice.

"Fuck yourself," said the man who is a heartbeat from the presidency.

There is no rule against obscene language by a vice president on the Senate floor. The senators were present for a group picture and not in session, so Rule 19 of the Senate rules -- which prohibits vulgar statements "unbecoming a senator" -- does not apply, according to a Senate official. Even if the Senate were in session, the vice president, though constitutionally the president of the Senate, is an executive branch official and therefore free to use whatever language he likes.

Obama 2015 & Hitler 1938 - Both Big Deal Failures

Obama's big nuke deal is "turn the other cheek" on steroids. Iran has been at war against us since 1979, when Obama was just a dope smoking child. And Iran has sponsored more terrorism and murdered more Americans than any other country since…Without Iran there would be no Syrian al-Assad, no Palestinian Hamas, no Islamic I.S.I.S. and no Lebanese Hezbollah!

So how does America respond to Iran? ... 

• By giving Iran hundreds of billions of dollars in frozen assets.

The Iran deal will provide a $150 billion cash windfall as sanctions are eased with an additional $20 billion per year in oil revenues, making the deal worth $420 billion over 15 years. If so, the Iran deal would give more cash to Iran than the $124.3 billion U.S. has given in total aid to Israel since 1948.

• By allowing Iran self-inspections of nuclear sites for rules infractions. 
• By promising Iran protection of nuclear plants by the U.S. if attacked.  

That's how Obama's America responds to the murder of Americans; by making it easier for Iran to murder more Americans without fear. And knowing there are no real consequences, who wonders why Putin has publicly shown such contempt for America with impunity?

This Iranian deal is a thousand times more reprehensible than that piece of worthless paper Neville Chamberlain brought back from his 1938 meeting with Adolph Hitler: 

In 1919, at the end of the First World War in The Treaty of Versailles the map of Europe was re-drawn where several new countries were formed which was intended to make a lasting peace. Hitler, however, coveted and wanted the return of annexed German land. Many people felt that the Treaty had caused terrible resentment in Germany on which Hitler had been able to play in order to achieve power. Some governments believed that Hitler and Germany had genuine grievances, but that if these could be met (‘appeased’) Hitler would be satisfied and become less demanding.

As a result of The Treaty of Versailles, three million Germans found themselves living in a part of Czechoslovakia called the Sudetenland and when Adolf Hitler came to power, he wanted to unite all Germans into one nation. Hitler orchestrated and fomented civil unrest with protests to bolster his argument for German unification.

On September 29, 1938 at Munich, Germany British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain got an international agreement that Hitler should have the Sudetenland in exchange for Germany making no further demands for land in Europe. Chamberlain really believed that Hitler was a man of his word.

Chamberlain said it was ‘Peace for our time’. Hitler said he had ‘NoEger, Czech Republic 1938 - Greet German Troops Soldiers or more territorial demands to make in Europe.’ In the Munich Agreement, Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain’s peace appeasement policy only made war more likely because Hitler thought he could get away with anything.

On October 1, 1938, only two days later, German troops occupied the Sudetenland: Hitler had got what he wanted without firing a shot.

On September 3, 1939, Prime Minister Chamberlain went to the airwaves to announce a state of war with Germany. It was in response to Hitler's invasion of Poland, Britain and France, World War II had begun.

And now because past history has disproved Neville Chamberlain's assumptions, we know better ...or do we? Some apologists erroneously restated later that Chamberlain’s appeasement policy bought a valuable year for Britain to get ready for the war which was bound to come--say what? ...and that was in Chamberlain's plans during those annexation talks?--I don't think so! ...But are we doing that today in Obama's Iranian agreement?

Obama Lacks Grade School Level U.S. History

Where did President Obama study American History? 

 In June 2014, President Obama spoke of three former Presidents  making prisoner swaps at the end of wars that took place on their watch, "much like his swap" he said convincingly. CNS News.com carried this quote, "This is what happens at the end of wars," President Barack Obama boasted when he was asked about swapping American Army  Sgt. Bergdahl, a Deserter, for five vicious Taliban terrorists.                                                                                               

Obama then said, "That was true for George Washington... That was true for Abraham Lincoln and  that was true for FDR. That's been true of every combat situation, that  at some point, you make sure that you try to get your folks back. And that’s the right thing to do."

Really? Where did this guy study American history, his class in Indonesia?

That statement blatantly demonstrates that the most powerful man in the  World and two term President of the United States lacks even a grade school level of knowledge of American History; specifically, history as  it relates to three of his rather critical predecessors. It shows that we have essentially twice elected a foreigner who has no understanding of the very country over which he thinks he reigns supreme.

It also revealed how Obama's made grievous errors in judgment by concluding that:

1) The war is over and

2) Obama was engaging in a prisoner exchange like those examples among his list of stellar leaders. 

If one looks into the actual historical facts just a little, the glaring lack of truth is appalling :

The Revolutionary War ended in 1783. George Washington did not become president until six years later in 1789. Any prisoner negotiations had already been completed.

Abraham Lincoln was assassinated in mid April of 1865. The Civil War ended the following month. He was still dead at that time. No deals were made to exchange prisoners after the war. All prisoners were simply freed.

FDR died of a stroke April 12, 1945 before the end of WWII September 2, 1945. President Harry S. Truman made the decision to drop two nuclear bombs on Japan on Hiroshima, August 6 and Nagasaki, August 7, 1945 ending World War II. We made no deals for prisoners then. We went in and released them wherever necessary.

If any Conservative President had made such an uninformed statement we'd never hear the end of it.

NOTE: None of the Presidents that Obama said were in office at the ends of those wars, making it impossible for them to make any sort of  prisoner swaps, let alone the Sgt. Bergdahl swap 5 for 1; plus unspecified cash for a  deserter.

It should be pointed out that countless deserters and traitors were shot or hung during all three of the aforementioned wars...

The Washington Post reported, "Ralph Peters, a retired lieutenant colonel and intelligence officer, wrote in National Review that a 'fundamental culture clash' exists between the president's team and those in the armed forces, as reflected by (national security adviser Susan) Rice's remarks on Bergdahl's honor."

"Both President Obama and Ms. Rice seem to think that the crime of desertion in wartime is kind of like skipping class," Peters wrote. "They have no idea of how great a sin desertion in the face of the enemy is to those in our military. The only worse sin is to side actively with the enemy and kill your brothers in arms. This is not sleeping in on Monday morning and ducking Gender Studies 101."

Contrary to Obama and Ms. Rice gushing glowingly about Sgt. Bergdahl's honor, the Army apparently doesn't agree. It has just been announced in late January, 2015 that a court marshal trial is scheduled for Sgt. Bergdahl--that's a home-run for our American team of soldiers! 

What amazes even more than the ignorance of the President is that he has somehow managed to surround himself with a staff that is just as clueless--Hello Valerie Jarrett, Sr. Advisor to the President ...an unelected official running the whole white house operations with really no special experience or extraordinary training at that level of management acumen, just Chicago-style rough and tumble political chicanery with some N.Y. Tammany Hall Union style democrat corruption, patronage and graft.

We Fought Muslims 230 Years Ago??

Today, public information is being pushed by fear instead of by actual facts. The Middle East Muslim dilemma is rife with PC misinformation. By Obama catering to public ignorance it is easy to manipulate Americans into drawing the PC, 'Politically Correct' decisions to reach the politically left-wing endorsed conclusions for restraining U.S. combat protocols deployed.  

The current Middle East strategy debate to send in U.S. ground troops is hanging tenuously in the balance to tip the scales of war in our favor. Since the Middle East wars have exploded much further in recent years under the Obama administration, many U.S. politicians urge caution and restraint into entering any further military engagements within sovereign regional boundaries; especially since it was noted that this would be a historically unparalleled aggression not done in that Islamic region of the world which would cause further retaliation. It sounds good, but is it? ...A Big No!

Do you know your U.S. history? - Learn from your past, it's your future... 

After the U.S. declared its independence in 1775 from England and entered into the Revolutionary War, France protected U.S. ships until the end in 1784; afterwards it was under our U.S. Navy. Then in July 1785, the U.S. suffered under the ruthless Islamist Barbary Coast pirates that captured two U.S. ships for the unheard ransom of nearly $60,000. The pirates demanded bribes to appease their extortion under Sharia Law for collection of dhimmitude, payments made by unbelievers or 'infidels' to live or work under Islam, rather than engaging them head-on in war.  

Thomas Jefferson was the U.S. Minister to France from 1784 to 1789. At the beginning Jefferson was against any further payments to the pirates even proposing a plan for a 'coalition of allied nations' who together could force the Islamic states into perpetual peace. The coalition failed. It sounded like a 'coalition of the willing' where the early documented use of that phrase was by President Bill Clinton in June 1994 in retaliation to possible operations against North Korea with other countries at the height of the 1994 stand-off with that country over nuclear weapons. The coalition failed. The idea that any coalition partners have helped out when historically the U.S. has gone into war, the U.S. always has been spending all its treasure and blood with little help from any of these coalition partners.

The 1785 U.S. Congress was disinterested in his plan, so Jefferson finally acquiesced to Congress who paid the ransom demands over the next fifteen years to Tripoli, Morocco and Algiers upwards of $1 Million a year.

It was not until 1801, after sworn in that as President Thomas Jefferson he let the Muslim Pasha know what he could do with his demand of $225,000 plus $25,000 a year thereafter. The United States then declared war on Islam and the Barbary Coast pirates as President Thomas Jefferson dispatched a squadron of frigates to the Mediterranean to teach the Muslim nations a lesson they would never forget. Algiers and Tunis both knew of the past history of American cowardice and acquiescence but saw a new U.S. will and might to strike back and immediately abandoned their allegiance to Tripoli. The U.S. Marine Corps led the battle line 'to the shores of Tripoli' as in the Marine hymn and they would forever after be known as the 'leathernecks' for their leather collars of their uniforms. The Queran states, "Meet the unbeliever and smite at the necks" or in other words, hack off their heads with swords. Their leather collars prevented the Marine heads from being chopped off by Muslim scimitars when boarding their ships. The war raged on for four more years until 1805 with Tripoli's defeat.

The Algerian aggressions again flared up in 1815 under President James Madison who sent in the U.S. Naval expedition. A treaty was secured from the Algerians effectively ending capturing any more U.S. ships under their ruling Muslim laws. The U.S. Senate finally ratified the treaty on December 5, 1815.

President Thomas Jefferson, as the former U.S. Minister to France and long before leaving France in 1879, recognized a fear that someday this brand of Islam would return and pose an even greater threat to the United States. Jefferson was anti-Islamist, not anti-Islam. The distinction is that he cared less if his neighbors claimed there were twenty gods or no gods, as long as he neither picked his pocket or broke his leg. Fundamentalist Islam does both with the underlying problem that it is both political and religious and the two cannot be separated. The Islamist believes that man-made laws are inferior and must be replaced with Sharia law and that governments worldwide should be Islamic. Fundamentalist Islam is anathema to everything Jefferson stood for as it vehemently disagrees with our U.S. Constitutional laws.

How influential have Jewish leaders been in our history? This brief synopsis may offer two people that, surprisingly, you may not have known about; one from the past and one in the present. They certainly offer a stark contrast to diametrically opposed political beliefs.

In 1755, Alexander Hamilton was born to Rachael Fawcette Levine, named Alexander Levine, of Jewish Ashkenazi lineage, in St. Croix, the West Indies. After changing his name from Levi to Hamilton and his geographical situs to the United States, on December 14, 1780 he married Elizabeth Schuyler and into the Rothschild family—the banking scions then and now. The United States upon entering the Revolutionary War against England was indebted to the Rothschild Bank for loans to finance expenses and soldiers. The seeds of finance were planted by The Bank Of Rothchild to finally bloom in 1913 with the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank run by private bankers as the central banking institution of the United States Treasury. Now that is really influential power inside our government--it's an ongoing debate to end it too.  

Fidel & Raul CastroFidel Castro is Jewish as his grandfather was a Sephardic Jew in Turkey. As much what news is heard from that closed island nation, the words 'Communist' and 'Atheist' are the descriptions normally bantered around within the official government political manifestos. The Holy Catholic Church was banned and shunned by the state.

As the aging dictator, 88 yrs. old, relinquished his power to his brother Raul Castro due to debilitating health issues in recent years the tiny island is abuzz as the reign of Castro winds down with his ultimate demise; time has finally taken him down. Surprisingly, the reality of a post-Castro Cuba that attempts to remain communist will find itself in a cul-de-sac where old policies and political system are at a dead end. Cuba must try new ways but the citizens need help; hopefully the Cuba ex-pats in America can assist with help. Otherwise, the Army takes the reigns as the next regime.  

Subgroups of Jews with different culture and traditions:

• Ashkenazic: Descendants of Jews from France, Germany and Eastern Europe.

• Sephardic: Descendants of Jews from Spain, Portugal, North Africa & the Middle East.

• Mizrachi: Descendants of Jews from North Africa and the Middle East.

• Other subgroups are: Yemenite, Ethiopian and Oriental.

Ashkenazic and Sephardic Jews represent two distinct subcultures of Judaism. All Jews share the same basic beliefs, but there are some variations in culture and practice. It's not clear when the split began, but it has existed for more than a thousand years, because around the year 1000 C.E., Rabbi Gershom ben Judah issued an edict against polygamy that was accepted by Ashkenazim but not by Sephardim.

Historically, Sephardic Jews have been more integrated into the local non-Jewish culture than Ashkenazic Jews. In the Christian lands where Ashkenazic Judaism flourished, the tension between Christians and Jews was great and Jews tended to be isolated from their non-Jewish neighbors. In Muslem lands where Sephardic Judaism developed, there was less segregation and oppression and their thought and culture was strongly influenced by Arabic and Greek philosophy and science. Why are these subculture differences important? They illustrate a classic case of whether there can ever be a 'cumbaya moment' to get together peacefully with Muslims since the centuries old history of mistrust from Jews about Muslims who have fought Jews over the centuries. It is not a whimsical decision of Israel, today it is a choice to defend and protect Judaism and their way of life against Islam and Sharia Law.

In Israel, a little more than half of all Jews are Mizrachim, descended from Jews who have been in the land since ancient times or who were forced out of Arab countries after Israel was founded. Most of the rest are Ashkenazic, descended from Jews who came to the Holy Land (then controlled by the Ottoman Turks) instead of the United States in the late 1800s, or from Holocaust survivors, or from other immigrants who came at various times. 

In America, many of the early Jewish settlers of North America who were Sephardic immigrated from Spain and Portugal. Their first Jewish congregation in North America, Shearith Israel, founded in what is now New York in 1684. Subsequently, most Jews today are Ashkenazim, descended from Jews who emigrated from Germany and Eastern Europe from the mid 1800s to the early 1900s. 

Sephardic Jews are often subdivided into Sephardim, from Spain and Portugal, and Mizrachim, from the Northern Africa and the Middle East. The word "Mizrachi" comes from the Hebrew word for Eastern. There is much overlap between the Sephardim and Mizrachim.
